I would like to invest in S&P500, but after googling and asking around I'm still quite uncertain. Looking to deposit around $500/month into a ETF. Any advice?

Should I use local brokerage (SCB was recommended to invest in IWDA? FSMone looks nice to me) or international brokerage (first trade has $0 commission, Kristal AI has free trade for first $50k, IB is quite pricey at $10/month)

For Singapore, better to use Ireland-Domiciled ETFs right? Any significant difference for VUSA, SPX5, IUSA? I noted SPX5 has slightly higher expense ratio

No problem with SP500, could be even the single one ETF You need.

IB also offer free service. It is called IBKR Lite. If you just want to buy ETF, I suggest you to buy it through brokerage account. You can simply buy SPY which has relatively low expense ratio. It is also highly liquid.

Hi Berfont,

S&P500 is a great index to get diversified access to US equities!

However, before jump...
