I was told that I will not be confirmed in my role and will be serving notice. However I lied to my fiancee that I was confirmed. Wish to tell her but I do not how. Any advise. I am feeling depressed.

You have to tell your fiancee the truth. She will be more hurted by your lies. Just be forthcoming and not twisting your words will make yourself more genuine about your mistakes. And apologise for your previous lie. Don't lie any further.
