I started off investing with a passive strategy, how do I know when I should move to a more active investing strategy?

IMHO, I think only if one were to :

1) Have at least 10-20% daily of your time to research , learn and read up
2) Gone for more investing courses or more studies and practice
3) Willing to make active investing learning as another job of yours
