I own an existing HDB with my spouse as the Occupier. After MOP, would my spouse be considered as a first-timer applicant for BTO? Any grants applicable or levy payable?
Based on the HDB website, it says that you will be treated as a first-timer applicant for BTO as long as you are not the owner from a flat from HDB, or an EC/DBSS flat bought from a developer.
Under the eyes of the law, the essential occupier is not a homeowner. Hence, any applicable grants and levy is still payable.
