I managed to save up for the respective expenses e.g house/reno. So i am throwing 90% of my salary into investments, am i being wise to do this?

90% is too big of a risk.

Ensure you have 3-6 months emergency liquid funds

As long as you have allocate what you have to pay, but personally, it is still too risky for me.

It's better to reserve some emergency fund 1st.
