I make a mistake by selling a put option without enough cash in my account and I think its consider leverage.?

The contract will expire in 9 days, as I have never use margin, what will happen upon the contract expire? Would there be an interest rate per day? should I close the contract?

Which broker?

most prob is considered as margin. not leverage. no interests if it is margin trading. it is inbedded in your account. like it or not, margin will be default.

if trade go against you significantly, you may be asked to top up account or broker will force sell your holdings.
