I’m actively looking for jobs but not getting response. Should I consider to drop some of my insurance (Whole life policies) if I really do not have capability to pay them if I remain jobless for quite some time?

Personally, I would switch to term life and cash in any whole life policies. You end up paying less for similar coverage and hopefully getting some extra cash to act as an emergency fund.
Then, it might be a good idea to read up more on insurance and review what you have. If you have whole life, you may also have other products that really aren't necessary and just end up draining your cash.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Have you talked to your insurance provider? Given your situation, they may allow you to postpone payment or re-arrange payment terms. In the meantime try to improve yourself by learning portable soft skills like project management and presentations, be open to opportunities in other industries. Most of all, stay positive. Reconnect with family and friends. You will get through this. Good luck

Few things I would have done:
Change policy to term policy, insurance for insurance. Means I may terminate my expensive endowment or life policy to just buy term policy to tide through.
Look for job with confidence via all avenue including agencies. No magic, just have confidence and keep sending out. Ignore blaming game, positive will attract positive, and sending out more will give more opportunities.
Find another income that I can generate: rent out a room, part time delivery at night, or learn some investing to generate another side income with low risk. (Do not pay for courses that teaches you have to make money, as if they can, they will not be teach...)
