HKSE does have some A shares ETFs that you can take a look at. Might be less risker than investing into a single stock? Should be able to get a list from the HKSE website.

SCB has access to HKSE.

SCB does not offer China market access.

You can consider using Interactive Brokers or Tiger Brokers which offer trading of some Chinese shares through the HK-Shanghai/Shenzhen Stock Connect.
