For me, travel is a tad bit cheaper, since I'm mostly doing camping/hiking trips, so skipping hotel fees is huge for your budget. If you snipe a good ticket you can get almost anywhere on a tiny budget on top of that

Last year I went to TX, stayed at my friend's place a few nights and on a camping grounds the others. Got to hike in Big Bend, been to Austin and Dallas, even got to shoot some cool rifles at local range(long range with scope level

I will set aside about $500 monthly for 1 year if i m heading to SEA countries. For countries which requires 14 days or more, i ll set aside $750. But it is at your convenience, it all depends on where you want to go
