I just received an estimate of $2,400 for my car repair. The repairs are brake-related so it is a safety issue. However, I am planning to sell away my car soon as I can't bid the new COE. Should I repair it before I sell?
Context: My car is a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and have over 300,000 km. The estimate is recommended by local shop not a chain or dealership. They have been my goto workshop and definitely not worry about overcharging.

No!!! Don't need!! Hope u see this before u repair it. Go to dealer, they will handle the repair on their end cos they need to sell it off in a good condition, or, they could be stripping your car down to sell its parts.
