It depends on 1) what kind of skills you have, 2) what value can these skills bring to the next company, and 3) the remuneration you are looking at vs the co.'s willingness to pay for it.
If you've weighed the pros and cons, as well as are confident and believe in your capability, just go for it.
You can take the notice period to find another job. 2 months is pretty long.

Hi Anon,
I would say quit your job AFTER you have secured another job, or you have a passion to pursue such as starting a business, else I think it's not very advisable to quit without securing a job.
