I have been thinking to do some side hustles in addition to my full-time employment with recent pay cut simply because I want to continue to build on my financial security in view of the current economy. However, I understand that my current employment does not allow that unless my side hustles have nothing to do with the profession e.g. I'm in art and media industry, my side hustles cannot be of the same industry. I wonder where and how do I begin to explore options for side hustle?

Hello, adding on to what JK has mentioned, since you said that your side hustle cannot be in the same industry as your profession. Honestly, that kind of narrows down quite a bit, since you can't do things like photography, portrait drawing, and selling handmade objects. Some options that I can think of off my head would be if you're good at cooking/ baking, maybe you can start a home bakery? Some other suggestions would be teaching tuition, being a pet sitter, or maybe even doing Grab if you have a car or a bike?
