Partial sell if u like to lock in some profits. it feels good. then the remaining can still continue to run.

Take out the capital and let the rest of your profits run

Consider it as part of your long term assets. If you're are not in need of any money, leave it and monitor your stocks performance against potential downside and make the decision to sell partially to mitigate losses. Ideally if the stocks are doing well and gives dividend, reinvest and let it grow.

If you don't need the money, why should you sell?
