I have 5k in a new Saxo account. What are some new basic investments that pay dividends?

What should I be looking to invest in? Any recommendations?

-ETFs (like VT, VOO and many others)

-REITs, particularly S-REITs (but consider S-REIT ETFs: dividend yield smaller, risk much smaller since averaged/diversified)

-single stocks (discouraged)

-'Dividend ETFs'
