Credit Cards

I don’t have time to track the various miles offers and deals, but is there a specific card (or a few cards) that I can get that could still allow me to mile hack relatively efficiently?

I shop online quite a bit, often dine out.

Most common question that I was asking a lot too. haha. I remember asking this myself during milelion meetup at Seedly.
What I decide to do :-

Two cards

1) UOB Priv Miles card (best return on a general use basic)

2) Citi Premiermiles card (Miles do NOT expire)

I uses these 2 cards. UOB for most spending because it has the best returns.

And Citibank Premiermiles because the card earn miles that do not expire.

I like to accumulate them for future, in case I need to splurge on some special events or for some love ones.

These 2 are my favourite cards and I almost abandoning all my other cards (OCBC, SCB, Maybank, BOC).

Well, I would recommend Citi Premiermiles or OCBC 90N, main catch of both is there is no expiry to the miles. All the other miles card have, I am honestly not sure as I am part of the cashback gang!

But then again, if I may recommend you a hack, use your miles card to top up your Grabpay. You should be able to activate your Grabpay Mastercard (GPMC). Since you say you online shop a lot, use the GPMC to pay for it. That way, you are double dipping - miles when you topup Grabpay, and grabpoints when you pay using GPMC. And to add on, you can actually claim Krisflyer miles from your Grabpoints. Win, win and win.

DBS Woman's World Card is not mentioned yet, thought it's worth pointing out that Online Spend on this card earns 10x DBS points which is equivalent to 20 miles for every $5 spent. I use this card exclusively to maximise my online spending, and the DBS points add to my DBS Altitude card for other general spending as well.

Hi anon,

You'll want 3 cards in this case, and assuming you qualify for the $30K p.a. cards,

1 for general spend (any general spend card should do the trick)

1 for dining(UOB lady's card is quite decent)

1 for online spend (Citi rewards visa or OCBC titanium)

Track your expenses and adjust accordingly (say if you find that you regularly and significantly exceed the $1K for 4mpd on the citi rewards visa for online spend, then get the OCBC titanium as well to maximize your earnings)

Hi Anonymous,

With time being a strict constraint, a fuss-free card could be either the DBS Altitu...
