General Investing

I am starting Uni and would like to invest a sum of money (~50k). I am considering buying ETFs and roboinvestors. I want a very passive strategy and I am thinking of putting everything in roboinvestors. Any advice?

Background:

  • 21 y/o
  • no debt
  • no need for student loans; have a yearly allowance from scholarship
  • have insurance
  • not planning to buy car in the future
  • planning to grow this sum for my house
  • have CDP and FSMone (no investments yet)
  • already have ~4k in Stashaway
  • have ~7k in CPF

Basically, what is the most passive strategy (need not monitor regularly) to generate stable income that can leverage on my money early (~50k). Also, should I be concerned with my CPF at this stage?

Better do it yourself, because it is cheaper and all in your own hand. you could also be doing both however.
