I would NOT recommend buying AIA Pro Achiever. Personally, I have the Pro Achiever plan and I am regretting it. I also cannot get out of it because the penalty for withdrawing is appalling. First two years, the penalty charge is 100% so you get $0 back. After that, it's a slow decrease in penalty charge... 80%... 70%... While we might think that we can definitely hold it for long term, when emergency strikes and you need the money or you cannot continue with premiums, the losses are hefty. The policy charges are high, money goes to your FA. I would suggest to read up a bit on investing and start with S&P 500 and continue learning on your own. Don't waste your money on AIA Pro Achiever!

Hi hi, what is the reason for you to go into ILP? Wish to get better returns from the investment? Getting protection and investment at an early age would be good, as it'll be cheaper and compound interest is higher. However, ILP has its pros and cons, your advisor must really understand and know how to invest for you. Else would end up losing money.
