I will be graduating soon from my part-time degree, I heard one of my peer who have graduated and starting to work at the job that is related to the degree. My peer feedback to me that it is quite demanding in the job.
I was thinking of going into a field that I'm interested in and it is slightly similar to my degree and very relevant to my diploma. However, the market in Singapore for such job is very little as I have done various search in the web. Any advice?

Hi Anon! Bear in mind that what's considered "demanding" to your peer, may not be demanding for you. What works for him/her would not be the same for you too. I'm sure both of you would have different goals in life as well as different qualities that you look out for in your first job after graduation.
Even though you have described the job market to be rather small or niche, don't give up! It is important to do what you love. Try reaching out to people on LinkedIn from the industry or even other peers who may have had similar experiences in the field to help you get a better gauge in the market. All the best!

Maybe in SG, but what about other countries? Good opportunity to work outside if that's something you aim for. Otherwise, this is a good period in your life to do some self-reflection and try out new things before settling your career.
Perhaps, if you can be really good at this niche then _you'll__** **_be the one in-demand for this field in SG.
