Additionally, I turn 26 in 2 years is it even worthwhile to open an account if they say it will get to prevailing rates after 26yo (i'm assuming its only 0.3% p.a), correct me if i'm wrong. currently i hold ocbcfrank with interest credit too, should i close this account if i open one with jumpstart? both seem to offer similar stuff

Hey Anon, the 2% interest p.a is applicable for your first $20k regardless of the amount in your Jumpstart savings account. This means that even if there's only $100 in your bank account, it still earns 2% interest p.a since there's no minimum balance or deposit. If you account has more than $20k, then the 2% interest will only be given to your first $20k, the extra surplus thereafter gets 0.10% interest p.a, which is still higher than the typical savings account of 0.05% interest p.a
