Possibly yes.

but there are so many followed star portfolios that they could be distracting to disciplined & modest. Also if you'd follow a given portfolio with your own money, then it is not invested directly into the held stocks but into structured products (like 'certificates'), when the company would be going bancrupt, your money'd be gone.
