I have been working as an auditor and accountant since I graduated. This is all I've known but I am thinking of changing my job into a different industry to work as a school teacher. Before I can become a MOE-certified teacher, I need to first go through the training course. That also means taking time to study and prepare to be a teacher. I'm almost in my mid-30s and I need to financially support my family as well. My starting pay as a teacher will not be as high as my current job in a bank.

As you get more experience in teaching, you will probably be entrusted with leadership positions and earn the same amount of money that you garnered in your previous life
