I am 40 years old. I see no career progression as a research assistant. Should I find work elsewhere?

I am 40 years old with a PhD in early childhood research working as a research assistant at NIE, NTU. I see no career progression in this role. What is your suggestion? Should I find work elsewhere?

It depends on what do you want from your career right now. If the lack of progression is killing you (spiritually), it's time to leave.

It is subjective based on personal preference. Do u want to progress further or are you contented right now? If option 1, then change otherwise stay put
