How would you put your 13th month bonus to use? I will be getting 13th month bonus. It’s not a lot but I’m wondering what should I do with it?

Should I park it at Gigantiq/Singtel Dash Easyearn? One time top up to my StashAway portfolio? Or top up CPF?

Note: I have already saved up 10k in Singlife

I use it to top up my SRS. $15,300 not easy to reach, you know lol

You don't need to put all your eggs into a single basket. Maybe split in 3 parts equally like I did.

1/3 to top up CPF, let the compounding effect take over

1/3 into investing, I'm planning to increase my crypto portfolio

1/3 into rewarding myself and my family with good food and gifts

It's not a lot when divided but you stretch every dollar.

Place inside Maybank for 36 months of islamic fix deposit. Assuming your bonus is $ 2000, you can place them as $ 1000 x 2. it used to be 2% interest rate for many months but has been cut to 1%. the reason i suggested breaking them into 2 parts of $ 1000 each is because if you need cash badly you can break one of them and let the other remain intact. thus don't one shot place $ 10 000 into such fix deposit because the minimum requirement is $1000. it means more paper work for the bank staffs, so be it. if you thinking of buying a newer version of handphone try to go for a used but good cosmetic look, you get to have a better smartphone at the same time save much cash, than to buy a brand new latest smart phone. end of the day, sleep tight with ample savings. always go for islamic fixed deposit whichever banks may offer. this is because you get the profit the next working day. they dont call it interest. normal fix deposit you will have to wait 365 days to get it. you dont have to be a muslim to deposit. its straight forward and easy. just remind the bankers you want ISLAMIC fixed deposit. thats it and make sure your bank slip reflect so.

I'll just plough the money back into my stock portfolio. It's a better money earner than I am....

How about this, if it’s spare cash and you want it to be more liquid with a slightly better return, ...
