As an experienced 'Crypto' team here in Singapore, we highly recommend the following for Bitcoin starters:
binance.sg (Via Credit Card or Xfers - aka Bank Transfer) / binance.com (Using Credit Card, with some interest)
coinhako.com (Via Credit Card or Xfers - aka Bank Transfer)
localCrypto.com (Where you can buy/sell BTC, ETH, etc directly from real people in Singapore)
crypto.com (via Credit Card or Xfers)
The most recommended option for us would be crypto.com , as you get to not only purchase cryptos directly, you can also own a physical prepaid debit visa card, and even trade on crypto.com's exchange (launched recently)
Points to Note:
Due to MAS regulation (applies to other countries regulations too), you will need to perform KYC (Know-Your-Customer) verification process prior to your first purchase.
However, as horrifying as it may sound, KYC process is pretty much painless for most crypto exchanges/wallets as mentioned above.
For instance, crypto.com's in-App KYC verification is pretty cool and easy to complete. We got ours completed in less than 5 minutes. And about 1 working day to process.
Lastly, out of the 4 recommended options, crypto.com so far is giving out free sign-up bonus cryptos (ie. US$50 worth of MCO tokens, which you can cash out later and spend on everyday purchases via their Card). In order to do that, you will need a referral code.
Feel free to AMA here, for crypto-related questions ;)
