How to become a fund manager/investment manager in Singapore?

What is the career path for a student aspiring to become a fund manager / investment manager in Singapore?

I understand a BBA, then, MBA is almost a basic qualification. CFA is also recommended, I hear.

So, for an 18 year interested in opening their own investment fund in the future, what is the career path to aspire towards?
