10k lump sum in low expense ratio S&P500 ETF.
dont have to do anything else ez. you'd be surprise( a good one) if you held it for maybe 20 years.

Consider robo-advisors as the core, with a smaller allocation to some ETFs that invests future themes e.g. digital economy, aging population, innovation.

Considered lots of options (SA top ups, endowments, bonds), finally invested 15k from my 2 year old's angbao money with Endowus in 2 batches, end last year and start of this year. Hes currently up 2k+.
