When the person is not investing or trading based one a system but instead based on his gut feel/emotions - that is when I would discourage them. I think having the patience to wait for results to deliver is an important trait. Remember, Warren Buffett and the gurus only managed a 30% returns over the long run. It takes time for your investments to compound.

Too much of?

Discourage from investing:
1) No income
2) No saving
3) gambler

Personalities:
1) willing to learn- how to identify what is a good investment, what not to do when 🐻 bear come.

2) patient
