Experience is not important for me. I think knowledge is more important. You can be a season investor, but without a proper knowledge, you get burn easily in the market.

Peter Lynch once asked a group of students to choose stocks to buy and they did.
They outperformed the fund managers. Strange, isn't it?
I think you have to know the fundamentals and valuations and invest with the money you can lose. That's how you can gain experience quickly!

I think experience doesn't really matters. In order to buy the stock, you must have conviction in it. Do not invest just for the sakeof investing. Also must have investing knowledge before even start to think of buying a stock.
