This is out of curiosity! I see some finance bloggers creating videos on Youtube and some full-timers who do non-finance videos... Was curious whether it is worth the time to build up a base on that platform.

Hi Anon, youtubers generally make anywhere between $3 to $5 per 1,000 video views. Of course, this depends on the number of views, content, video length and other aspects that contribute to the overall quality of the video. I was curious recently too and came across a site which provides useful tools that can give you an estimate of how much youtubers can make based on their subscribers, views and other factors. You may like to give it a try here!

Hello, aspiring youtuber. Depending on the topic of the channel, YouTube pays from $2 to $5 per 1,000 views. The highest rate for 1,000 ad views (it's the ad views that bring in the money) is for users from the United States. At first I developed my channel by dubbing old German videos for American forums and youtube. Everything was easy with YouTube, but on the forums I had to compress video with this software and put it as a file so people could download it and watch. It turns out that more people will see my videos, and the videos will be downloaded faster.
