Actually changes to the tax code will ensure that hitting the cap will no longer be a problem.

It really depends on how much you can do without. You could withdraw from SRS, but note that the withdrawn amout will be taxable +5% fee, so it's considered semi-liquid.

Not a working mum, but I am planning to contribute a small sum to SRS or CPF monthly if I can afford it. Probably $100 since my income is not that high and I have other objectives to meet.
