How much can i set aside for emergency fund? appreciate your replies 🥺🤝🤝

Hi if i’m left with $550 and i wna buy an earbuds which cost $79.80 and still have to set aside cash for the remainder of the month, how much can i set aside for emergency fund? appreciate your replies 🥺🤝🤝

Is earbud a need or a want? How much percentage of incomes has been spent on wants per month?

Typically people keep 6 to 12 months of expenses, not income, as emergency funds.

Do note that you still need to indulge in wants as life is not about keeping a lot of money. But if you cannot afford or always spend a lot on wants, it's a different story.
