No point looking too many times if you are intending to buy for long term and not a trader. I only look more when I want to make decision to buy/sell on that particular period. If not just close app and carry on with life.

I used to do it a few times every day! However, I am cutting it down a lot now and look at it maybe once in a few days.

I just monitor the prices on Yahoo Finance app.
If it's red days, I'll buy more of the co. shares I own on the desktop version of my broker. Honestly, I don't really like my broker app so I don't open it at all except for authentication.
If it's green days, just do nothing. It's better for our mental health.

On bad days, I do it less often. Stocks that you are holding mid or long-term, trust in them and not worry about the usual dips.
I always believe in investing in a sustainable manner. So what if you're earning those profits if you're stressing it everyday. Stress is bad for investing. Take a break from investing if need to, avoid looking at stock prices/charts and get back in only when you're ready.
