How long does a typical mortgage loan process take?

I am new to loans. Currently planning to take a mortgage loan, please advise. If it's a bank loan, what are some necessary documents required? Thanks in advance.

You need statements of all your previous and current loans

1) car loan

2) existing property loan

3) statements of all existing credit cards, even those you had not used, but possess.

4) salary slip, CPF, income notice of assessment

5) any other loan information, such as student loans. etc

With the above, you can send to the bank and apply and it will take you just a week or so to get their reply. Actually I got my reply in 3 days.

Loan for a commercial loan is even faster, I think I got an answer by 2nd day.
