  1. Go to robo-advisor website and read about why they have crafted their core portfolio that way. I would recommend that beginners only start on the core Flagship portfolio as the robo company has already done their research. Only touch the self-craft portfolio once you have more knowledge.

  2. Compare returns. Normally the companies would advertise their returns Nett off fees.

  3. Sign up to the right robo in mind.

  4. First month lump sum top up. Subsequent months DCA.

  5. When market dips >5%, add in another DCA.

I would highly recommend Endowus due to the high returns and CPF/SRS eligibility. One stop shop for Cash/SRS/CPF investment. Generally safer as MAS wouldn't allow investors to use SRS/CPF on some Tom Dick or Harry platform.

Endowus' custodian acc is in your name. So if it closes, you choose when to liquidate. SA/SYFE custodian acc is shared. So if they close on a bear market, all holdings are sold on red and money returned to investors at loss.

Good read.
