29M - Not married, no kids, no house

Investments: 70% (Split evenly into DCA - VWRA & Endowus 100% Flagship Portfolio)

Expenses: 15-25% (Will increase to 25-30% next month as I help to pay for bills)

Savings: Remainder (Currently have 6 months or so set aside)

Planning to stay single and live with parents till the end, earn enough to retire asap (current calculations is around 40~45 depending on circumstances).

  • 39M, married + kid + house
  • Full time salary only? Investment: 100%+, i currently surviving on my side hustles.
  • Saving 0%, i just maintain a certain amount of cash in the bank.
  • Personal Expenses + allowance for parent & kid less than $1.8k

  • In my opinon, to achieve FI, if we are in the right direction, we should be able to be progressively be less reliance on our salary, then our side income and finally fully depend on our investment.
  • There should be a transitory phases rather than achieve a certain amount of $$$, based on calculation and "feel" is sufficient.
  • Calculation is still important as it provide a general guideline, roughly what you need to do.
