How do you track stocks you've researched but haven't bought yet?

I have a list of tickers I researched a while back, but I seldom remember to go back to check if my original reasons for buying still hold up. Price alerts don't really help since they only flag price moves, not whether the story behind the stock has actually changed. Curious what others use to stay on top of this.

When the stock reach my target price, i will relook at their fundamentals instead of buying immediately.

If you are buying these large-cap stocks with strong moats, the narrative doesn't matter. Because they have so much cash to burn and will still be fine, their story can change at any time. Therefore, you can safely buy and hold them.

For speculative small-to-mid-cap stocks, however, you should just set a strict entry and exit price. Because story is all they have.
