I’m paid to work about 50% of the time lol. Administrator at a uni, first job. I don’t find my work that fulfilling - I’m getting quite unmotivated but at the same time, I don’t know if I can find a better job with better pay in this climate lol.

I'm guessing you're writing this and still in your admin job because you have not found, or affirm what gives you passion to do for the rest of your life.
Since you have 50% free time at work, use it to your advantage! Like what the others are saying, how bout using it to learn something? Maybe now you don't know what you like yet, then try out everything. Figure out what are your strengths, and what brings you joy. There are loads of courses at Udemy that can give you a taste of what other professions are like.
Another thing you can do is, why not try an internship instead? If you're worried about finding a full-time job and lack the qualification, even though you might be earning less with an internship, but you get the learn more AND be able to network with a different industry that might open more doors. This could be a better investment of your 6 months of time than just chilling in your current role.
There are opportunities everywhere, but many people are not willing to step out of their comfort zone, and take the first step to find them. All the best OP! With the right mindset, things will fall into place naturally. ◡̈

It sounds like you feel you you're in a good place since you doubt that you "can find a better job with better pay". So there's a good chance that you:
(1) find a better job with lousier pay
(2) find a lousier job with better pay
Depends on your weighing of what's more important- make your choice accordingly!
