How do you "diversify" when your portfolio is not large enough?

Like for e.g I want Alibaba to take up 10% of my portfolio, then if I buy the min lot is 100, that's ~$4.5K SGD alr. But that's like more than what I can afford to invest in an entire year? At the same time, I also don't want to miss out on the China market.
