How do you all cope with/manage incompetent and unreasonable people at work (share wise and practical ways leh)? (For students, how do you cope with/manage free-riders on school projects?)

For me, I learned to agree to disagree, and accept that people don't change. So basically, don't bother to argue or debate that your idea is better. Let the management do as they please and make sure to document all the processes and results for the management to take accountability for their actions. Then you can kindly insert yourself and help the management to come up with better actions.

As for free-riders, don't think about them. You want your good grades? You just have to carry them for the same project. This is a reflection of real adult work as well. The incompete free-riders will eventually weed out themselves. Also, you should stay away from free riders to begin with, if possible.

It is tiring, there will always be people like tt... maybe just need to take the role to assign roles?
