How do people find strong potential but not fully bloom medium/small cap companies in US market like how netflix was back in 2007 when it didn't get much attention and no1 knew much about it?

I agree with Aidan and Wilson answer..

Understand what type of risk taker are you? Understand what type of portfolio u are more keen to add into? then research....

Look at geographical, sectors and companies...

look at companies fundamentals, technical part and decide for yourself...

Next is like what Wilson mention... Hope that the company is doing well...
