How do I scope what to sell for my e-commerce business?

The e-commerce space is getting competitive with so many product offerings available on different websites these days.

How do I scope the products/services I should offer, or find out whether there's demand for a certain product?

For Amazon, you can actually use a specialised sourcing tools like Helium 10 or Jungle Scout to source for highly searched products. For Lazada or Shopee, there are no specialised tools yet. For myself, I have been in the gift industry for 15 years so we have been designing, sourcing and manufacturing the gift items to list on the various platforms.
