I worked as a lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic before. I only have a basic degree

ITE/Polytechnic - Basic degree is a must. Higher chance if you are a subject matter expert from the relevant industry.

Autonomous university - PhD from recognised overseas university is a requisite. If local PhD, will have to possess experience lecturing in overseas university. Without PhD, specialist from a sought-after field e.g. heart surgeon, also can.
