Straits Times Forum article cites a case of insurance policies where insurer denies claims for (breast cancer) because of other conditions (vertigo / asthma) not disclosed?
Well to be fair, the article cites the person bought policy in Oct 2020 and diagnosed with breast cancer Feb 2021 (less than 6 mths).
But how often is it that we get rejected for claims for the thing the policy is meant to cover? If there is a high rate of rejection, are we just better off not buying the policy at all?
