How can I find out the pay rate for the diff roles given by each individual company in the field that I am interested to work in? Because it is rather inappropriate to ask the employer directly

(I mean, no companies out there in the society would openly declare their pay rate for the roles that they are hiring, and also because I would like to do a comparison of the pay rates between the different companies)

Besides salary, there are also benefits to consider - leave entitlement, location, medical etc.

Unfortunately the only place u can get some estimate is Glassdoor and you have to take it which a pinch of salt.

mycareerfuture is a great alternative as well

Glassdoor and MyCareersFuture will be good starting places for such information, if not check with your contacts for similar job roles and ask for their pay range, at least for a ballpark figure.
