I mean we cannot buy fractional stocks also.. so just trying to understand how would u guys do it to consider as dca?

Hi anon, I have faced a similar issue as well.

I personally DCA into both CSPX and VWRA and do not contribute sufficient cash monthly to make up a full share. Instead, I opt to dollar cost average every 2-3 months instead. This saves on commission fees as well.

For instance, I buy 1 share of CSPX in Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct. I choose to buy at the start of the three month period instead of the end to maximise compounding.

Alternatively, you can use a robo advisor. however, I chose not to as I wish to minimise recurring fees.

Reading on your other comments, you can choose to buy 1 share of CSPX every quarter and save the remaining amount not used. Those remaining amount will eventually be enough to buy 2 shares of CSPX in that quarter.
