I understand by law that Singapore REITs have to payout at least 90% of their taxable income every year, but on yahoo finance the payout ratio for REITs can be less than 90% (eg. CMT, Frasers, Mapletree etc). Only Suntec REIT payout ratio is shown as above 90%.
Does anyone know why is this the case? Does yahoo finance have its own method of calculation?
