I am currently earning about 9k and not eligible for BTO (it's regrettable). Even for the resale flat, I'm only eligible for a proximity grant of 15k. I don't have much money in the OA because the bulk of it is transferred to SA account.
I'm thinking of a few options:
1) Buy a condominium (1RM +1 Study RM) - new project -> will be completed by 2028, I will be able to afford the 25% downpayment and the remaining 75% mortgage -> approximately 1.4mil
2) Buy a resale condominium: -> Rent it out and wait until the price increase then sell for profit; OR -> Stay on my own
3) Buy a 3RM resale flat with 40+ years of leases left and pay everything cash upfront. -> Stay on my own; OR -> Stay with another tenant from JB
4) Just stay with my parents, invest the rest.
5) Rent an apartment in JB.
