House Hack 101: Stay for free with dual key unit?

Is it really wise to purchase a dual key unit, stay in the 2 bedder and rent out the studio to service the mortgage with the rent collected?

More expensive
Hard to sell

But if you plan to stay there very long and can afford, then should be ok.

Sounds like a great plan. Most of the development for such units do not have good location.

If location is not the best, how do you get high rent or rent out easily?
