Hi there has anyone used kickstarter for crowdfunding?

Was planning to give it a shot as well are there any tips or advice on maybe like how to plan for it or like unexpected expenses i should consider, etc? Thanks!

If Im not wrong, they have also helped a couple of local entrepreneurs like yourself in their Kickstarter campaigns.
