Why do you want to change it? Yes the premiums for all health insurance goes down the drain if you dont use this, this one no exception. You should look out for pre and post hospitalisation claim duration since follow ups can go on for more than 1 year, the longer the better.

There's always a risk when changing insurer. For example, a person who has heart condition since birth but doesn't know about it until something happens in his 40s, needing medical attention. There's timeline terms and conditions for such congenital condition. Switch with this risk in mind.

In regards to the premium, health plan generally is not refundable if unused. Not sure about your plan though. Best to check directly with your insurance company.
